I am obsessed with AI/SI these days. We are quickly moving forward and are on the precipice of a revolution bigger than any other we have seen before, or at least that is my take. In attempt to figure out what I can do with my remaining weeks on this planet, I have devoted much of my time researching and studying AI/SI, the history of other revolutions in the past that have changed civilization, and the opinions of “experts” regarding the technical and business aspects of all things related to AI/SI.

My goal is to find some sort of work in the future economy where money will become either very abundant and then almost worthless. It will be a brave new world, and it is happening before our eyes in a flash.

This episode of Columbo came to mind as a reminder of how far we’ve come. The look of amazement on Columbo’s face is priceless. In the late 70’s, what would have been considered extremely high tech would now go unnoticed as anything worth our attention. What is even more interesting is how life back then seemed so much more normal and comfortable than today even given all the “progress” we have made since then.
