2/17/25 - I haven’t updated this page in a while but just sent you a link to it on FB. Let’s see if you can access it. If so, I’ll be sure to updated this page more frequently so you will know the latest on this end given that FB is not a reliable communication channel these days.
I hope your trip is going well. Sounds like you had to deal with a lot of unfortunate situations regarding your luggage and things that went missing. Sorry to hear about that. Things on this end are status quo for the most part. I’m still working a little bit on the condo each week, but I need to clear my plate to spend more time there to get it fixed up. I have some other high priority items on my list that I am working on, but it will all get done eventually with any luck.
Let me know how you’re doing. We can try FB again. The feedback form on this page should work as well - or not. You never know with tech what will work.
12/6/24 - Let me know how your schedule is shaping up. You mentioned that you wanted to pick up the metal shelves this week. You wanted them disassembled, so I will need to know when you will come by so they are ready for you. Lola wanted to keep one for her “cat house” if that’s possible. Hope to see you soon and maybe grab a coffee or lunch.
11/28/24 - As promised, I wanted to provide as much detail as I can that makes sense to keep everyone on track. I have several phones, and I do not even like phones and think they are a real nuisance in many ways. Doesn’t make a lot of sense, but until I figure things out, it is what it is. But maybe this site will be accessible to you whenever you are wondering about the status of things (for instance, the shed). I’ll start with that as the first category of interest. I hope to use this site for sharing other information as well.
Here are the latest pictures of the shed which I assembled at the end of November - finally. The roof panels became warped after they were disassembled, and the skylight plastic was brittle and broke during disassembly. Unfortunately, the roof panels are too warped to be used at this point as-is. I am looking into ways to straighten them out. I have some ideas I can try. I am also looking into finding replacements for the roof panels as another option. As a way of tracking my progress, I can update this site, probably under Chronological Posts.
