Current Status (updated 2/27/26)
So busy that I have not had time to updated my daily status for a while. I meant to do the last update on Super Bowl Sunday but never found the time. I will update the daily status now several weeks after the Super Bowl with some Super Bowl content.
The background is that before the Super Bowl game, I decided to go out for a run so I could consume food and adult beverages during the game with less guilt. During my run, I came across a production or film shoot in my neighborhood. I will include the photos and videos here that I captured during my run. The location was cleared before the live shot was aired during the Super Bowl, so even though the commercial ran for over 6 minutes, it was over by the time I got home and turned on the game. I didn’t realize that the commercial ran early before the coin toss, so I ended up watching the entire game expecting to see the commercial. The game was not very exciting, and I ended up watching Bad Bunny to boot. A friend texted me late in the game to tell me that the Skittles live commercial ran at beginning of the Super Bowl before I got home. Given that a typical Super Bowl commercial is 30 seconds in length for $10 million, I assume Skittles got a bit of a break from paying $120 million for a 6 minute commercial that ran right before the game started.
