Current Status (updated 1/9/25)
Busy as a beaver which is typical at the beginning of the year. Wow, this year is flying by. It’s going to be Christmas before you know it.
I’ve been too busy to even focus on anything other than my new year objectives often referred to as New Year Resolutions. For me, I always just do a postmortem of the past year to determine what I need to do this year to meet objectives that I may have missed last year. I do this on almost a daily basis, but with a new year offering a fresh slate, I reflexively look back over the previous year and decide if I am on the right track or need to make some adjustments. There are always needed adjustments, of course.
The one thing that has been top of mind the past couple of days is the apparent death march the country is taking toward socialism and the attempt of left to incite violence with the concomitant media doing their part to only make matters worse. Sorry, this comment obviously crosses over to the political side of the spectrum, but I do feel that there is little wiggle room here given the facts we can confirm.
I’ll just post here what I wrote today on a message board and let it go at that.
“Administration opponents are increasingly radicalizing citizens to act as domestic insurrectionists, agitating them to obstruct federal agencies like ICE. By actively fueling this anti-government hostility, high-profile Democrats, including Governor Walz, Mayor Frey, and AG Ellison, are steering the country toward chaos. To safeguard law enforcement and halt this downward spiral of violence, President Trump must consider invoking the Insurrection Act to restore national order.”
And maybe I’ll just include a link that I found that puts things in perspective with regard to the unfortunate demise of Renee Good. This is a good example of how the mainstream media try to create a “gotcha moment”, but Tom Homan will have none of that. He maintains the high road during this interview even in the lion’s den.
