Launched in December 2025, this site will be a living archive for family memories and "receipts." My intent is to foster open communication and seek closure, though family dynamics are often as complex as peeling an onion. After a long period of refinement, this project is going live to offer a fresh perspective on our history. We have arrived to where we are today, but how did we get here? It is a work in progress; let’s see where the journey leads.
It is recommended that to view the latest content on this site, Ctrl-F5 a couple of times will ensure to refresh the cache on a desktop Windows computer. When it comes to phones and Macs, you’re on your own.

The plan is to take previous ramblings and make things a bit pithier. Brevity is what I will strive for keeping in mind that less is more. I do plan to provide “receipts”, but I will organize the information hierarchical to facilitate easier navigation, hopefully.

Daily status is included here only as an aside. During the two plus years of the COVID lockdown in California, I decided to find a way to communicate with others. I do not use social media, so a platform such as Facebook was not an option. I decided to create separate sites for each of my contacts where I could post information (and later, features were added to enable two-way communication). The Daily Status is shared among all sites. I will include it here even though it has become a place to post whatever may be on my mind on a given day as I digest current events. In addition to the security issues with using social media sites, the other reason I stay away from social media is to avoid the inane back and forth discussions often over politics. I enjoy discussing many topics including politics, but too many people are not able to keep it civil. Sorry in advance if I post something here that may be offensive to some. It’s never my intent to ruffle feathers, and I understand the only way to ensure feathers are not ruffled is to say nothing. Maybe I should not include the Daily Status section on this site.

Have not had much time lately to update my status. My status is “Busy”.
Survival seems to top the list lately. It is concerning to see what is going on these days with AI and fake news whipping people into a frenzy. This cannot end well.
